What to Know
Interior mount means the form goes on the inside of the glass, protected from rain, direct sun, and pressure washing — which is exactly why it can use lighter materials and a gentler adhesive than an exterior form needs. That protection is also what keeps the print clean and glare-free for as long as the vehicle sits on your lot, without the yellowing or lifting that weather exposure eventually causes outdoors.
One Material, Three Form Types
Every interior item we sell — window stickers, addendums, and Buyers Guides — ships on heavy white, laser-compatible paper stock with light peel-and-stick adhesive on all four sides, not the polyester used on exterior forms. The form type still decides what’s printed: a window sticker carries Monroney-style vehicle specs and pricing, an addendum discloses a supplemental fee or dealer add-on, and a Buyers Guide satisfies the FTC’s Used Car Rule. What’s constant across those three on the interior side is the stock — a showroom or covered-lot dealer typically runs all three in interior mount, so the print stays consistent and the removal is just as clean on every form.

Applying and Removing Interior Forms
Clean the interior glass with a lint-free cloth, then peel the adhesive border and press the form from the center outward to avoid bubbles. The light adhesive activates on contact, so there’s more room to reposition before it sets than with an exterior form. Removal is just as simple at end of lot life — the form lifts off in one motion with no scraping and no residue left behind for the next detail pass.

Q. Why do interior forms use paper instead of polyester?
Paper stock never has to survive rain or a pressure washer on the inside of the glass, so there's no reason to pay for polyester's weather resistance. Every interior-mount item we sell — window stickers, addendums, and Buyers Guides — ships on heavy white, laser-compatible paper for that reason; the same forms in exterior mount switch to polyester because they're exposed to weather. It's the mount location that decides the material, not the product type.
Q. Does interior adhesive leave residue on tinted windows?
No — the light adhesive is formulated to lift cleanly off glass and factory tint with no residue and no risk of pulling tint film. That's the tradeoff against exterior's permanent adhesive: interior forms come off in seconds with light, even pressure, which matters for dealers who rotate the same vehicle through multiple lots or need to swap a form without leaving a mark.
Q. Is interior mount required for indoor showrooms, or just recommended?
It's not required by any regulation — the FTC's Buyers Guide rule and Monroney-style disclosure requirements apply regardless of which side of the glass a form is on. Interior mount is a practical choice: it keeps the print glare-free and protected for vehicles that live under cover, and it's the lower-cost option since the stock doesn't need weather-grade materials. An open outdoor lot should still use exterior-mount forms instead.
Q. Can interior forms be reused if a sale falls through?
Usually not cleanly — the light adhesive is built for one clean application and removal, not repeated repositioning. Peeling and reapplying the same physical form risks reduced tack and visible creasing on a second placement. Q. What happens if an interior sticker gets wet?
It's not built for it — the paper stock and light adhesive assume protection from weather, so condensation or a wet interior detail can cause the print to smear or the adhesive to lift at the edges. If a vehicle regularly sits with windows cracked or gets detailed with interior glass cleaner sprayed directly on the form, switch that vehicle to an exterior-mount form instead.
