1,000 unit minimum — full color custom printing

Your dealership's addendum form is one of the first things a buyer examines on the lot. A professionally printed custom form communicates that your operation is organized and transparent. Why Dealers Use Custom Exterior Addendum Stickers

The exterior addendum custom combines your dealership's branding with weather-resistant exterior adhesive. Every vehicle on your lot carries a professional, consistent disclosure form — no blank forms, no inconsistent layouts, no handwriting.

Your Branding Pre-Printed, Variable Data You Control

Your dealership name, logo, address, and field headers are printed at our facility. The variable fields — price, options, warranty terms, add-ons — are left blank for your laser printer. Every form looks like it came from a professional dealership, not a generic supply house.

Exterior-Grade Adhesive for Open Lot Conditions

The peel-off border on all four sides bonds directly to exterior glass. The adhesive is formulated for outdoor use — it holds through rain, direct sun, temperature swings, and car wash cycles. Stickers won't curl, lift at edges, or separate from the glass in humid conditions.

Weather-Resistant and Fade-Resistant Stock

The heavy white stock resists UV fading, moisture, and heat. Your pre-printed branding and any printed variable data stay crisp and readable through extended outdoor lot exposure. This matters when your inventory sits for 30, 60, or 90 days before it sells.

Full Color Custom Printing

We print in full color. If your dealership has a color brand — a specific header color, a logo with color elements, a color-coded form background — we reproduce it accurately. Your addendum matches your other branded materials, from your lot signage to your F&I office brochures.

We Match Any Design

If you already have a form design — a Word template, a PDF, a design file — send it to us and we'll match it. If you're starting from scratch, our production team will help you lay out a clean, functional form based on your requirements. Either way, you approve a digital proof before we print.

Bulk Pricing at 1,000 Unit Minimum

Custom exterior addendum stickers are available at wholesale pricing starting at 1,000 units. Volume breaks at 2,500 and 5,000 units reduce your per-sticker cost. For dealer groups, we manage multiple design files and can drop-ship to individual locations.

Exterior Addendum Custom — Dealer FAQ

Q. What's the difference between the exterior custom and exterior blank addendum?

The custom version has your dealership's branding — name, logo, address, and field headers — pre-printed at our facility. You only print the variable data (price, options, etc.) on each individual form. The blank version has no pre-printed content at all — you print your entire form design on each sticker yourself. Custom looks more professional and consistent; blank is more flexible for dealers who change their form layout frequently. Both use the same exterior-grade adhesive stock.

Q. What's the difference between interior and exterior custom addendums?

The exterior version applies to the outside surface of the window and uses a stronger adhesive formulated for outdoor glass. It also uses weather-resistant, fade-resistant stock for outdoor lot conditions. The interior version applies to the inside of the glass, uses a lighter adhesive, and is better suited for indoor showrooms or climate-controlled lots where weather resistance is less critical. Both are available in custom-printed format. If your inventory sits outside, use exterior. If your lot is covered or indoor, either works — most dealers in that situation choose the Interior Addendum Custom for easier removal.

Q. How does the custom proof process work?

After placing your order on AK Dealer Services, you'll complete a design intake form. Upload your logo, specify your color scheme and field layout, and note any compliance language you need on the form. Our production team creates a digital proof within 2 business days. You review and approve the proof — or request revisions — before we print. Production begins only after your sign-off. Once your design is on file, reorders process faster without a new proof unless you request changes.

Q. Can I include state-required disclosure language in my custom design?

Yes, and for many dealers this is the primary reason to use a custom form instead of a blank. If your state requires specific language — a prior damage disclosure, a lemon law buyback statement, a dealer-installed accessory itemization — we print it as fixed text in your custom design. Your variable data area then covers only what changes per vehicle. This eliminates the risk of forgetting required language on any individual form.

Q. How does the exterior adhesive hold up through car washes?

The full perimeter adhesive seal — all four sides — creates a water-resistant bond around the form. In standard touchless or soft-touch automated car washes, the sticker holds without lifting or water intrusion. For high-pressure hand washing directly at the sticker surface, some edge lifting is possible over repeated cycles. Best practice: apply to clean dry glass, press all four edges firmly at application, and check edges after the first wash cycle.

Q. What turnaround time should I expect for custom orders?

Standard production is 5–7 business days after proof approval. Rush options are available — contact us before ordering to confirm rush availability and lead time. Reorders on an existing approved design typically ship faster since the proof step is already complete.

Q. What information do most dealers put on their exterior addendum?

The most common custom exterior addendum layouts include: dealer header (name, logo, address, phone); a price section showing base price plus dealer-installed accessories itemized separately; a warranty disclosure section (even if AS IS, many dealers add a brief statement); reconditioning or inspection notes; and signature/date lines. State-specific disclosure language is added as needed. We'll help you lay out a functional form during the proof process.

Exterior Addendum Custom Window Stickers for Used Car Dealerships

The exterior addendum custom gives your dealership a branded, weather-resistant compliance form for every vehicle on your outdoor lot. Your dealership’s name, logo, and field layout are pre-printed at our facility in full color. You complete the variable fields — vehicle price, options, dealer add-ons, warranty terms — in your office using a standard laser printer.

Applied to the outside of the window, the form bonds to exterior glass with permanent adhesive on all four sides and holds through lot conditions: rain, heat, humidity, and routine car washes. AK Dealer Services supplies this product to independent dealers and dealer groups in wholesale quantities. Minimum order 1,000 units (SKU: 1001914).

Product Specifications

The exterior addendum custom measures 4.25 x 11 inches — the standard addendum footprint that fits cleanly alongside a Buyers Guide or window sticker on the same glass. The stock is heavy white with a weather-resistant, fade-resistant coating and full-color custom printing on the face.

What Dealers Put on a Custom Exterior Addendum

The custom format gives you precise control over what your form says and how it looks. Here’s how different dealer types use it:

Independent used car lots. Most independent dealers use the addendum to itemize dealer-installed accessories (GPS tracker, window tint, paint sealant) at individual prices, fulfilling state disclosure requirements and making the total price transparent before negotiation starts. Having this on a branded form rather than a hand-written note or generic blank carries more weight with buyers.

BHPH (Buy Here Pay Here) dealers. BHPH operations often have specific disclosure requirements around financing terms, payment schedules, and vehicle condition. The custom addendum is a clean way to carry these disclosures on the vehicle itself, so buyers see them at the point of inspection — not just at the signing table.

CPO and limited warranty programs. Dealers who offer any form of certified or limited warranty program use the addendum to describe the coverage clearly: what’s covered, for how long, what the deductible is, and how to make a claim. This disclosure on the window itself sets buyer expectations and reduces post-sale disputes.

Multi-rooftop groups. Dealer groups with consistent branding across locations use the custom addendum to maintain that brand uniformity on the lot. Buyers who visit multiple locations in the group see the same professional form presentation.

Why Use a Separate Addendum Instead of the Buyers Guide

The FTC Buyers Guide (required under 16 CFR Part 455) has a specific format that dealers cannot materially modify. You can fill in the required fields — warranty status, vehicle info, dealer signature — but you cannot add your logo, change the layout, or include supplemental disclosures in the body of the form without potentially creating a compliance risk.

The addendum solves this. It’s a supplemental form with no federal format restrictions. You control every element of the layout. The Buyers Guide satisfies the federal requirement; the addendum carries everything else your dealership, your state, or your business practice requires.

Both forms should be on the vehicle simultaneously. The Buyers Guide goes in one window position (typically the driver’s side); the addendum goes in a complementary position. Buyers inspect both as they walk the lot.

For the required Buyers Guide, see our Exterior Buyers Guide AS IS.

State-Specific Compliance Considerations

Several states impose addendum-related disclosure requirements that go beyond the federal baseline:

California. Used car dealers in California must disclose prior use (rental, fleet, lease, lemon law buyback, prior police use) on a specific Dealer Disclosure form. Many California dealers incorporate this disclosure into their custom addendum design so it’s visible on the vehicle before any sales conversation begins.

New York. New York requires dealers to disclose known prior damage exceeding a certain threshold. Including this disclosure in your addendum template ensures it appears on every form automatically.

Texas. Texas dealers must disclose dealer-installed accessories and their prices separately from the base vehicle price. The addendum is the standard vehicle for this disclosure on the lot.

Other states have varying requirements. If you’re designing your custom addendum for a specific state, send us your required language and we’ll incorporate it into your form design during the proof process.

Applying and Removing Exterior Addendum Stickers

Application:

  1. Print your variable data (price, options, vehicle details) through your laser printer
  2. Wipe the exterior window surface clean and dry
  3. Peel the adhesive border from all four edges
  4. Position the form on the glass before pressing — the bond is quick once it contacts the surface
  5. Press firmly from center outward, working all four edges against the glass
  6. Check all corners for full contact

Removal: Use the edge of a plastic scraper or your fingernail to lift a corner, then peel at a low angle. The adhesive releases cleanly from exterior glass. For any residue, a small amount of adhesive remover on a clean cloth clears it without damaging the glass.

Ordering and Reorders

Your first order includes the proof process: design intake, digital proof, your approval, then production. Turnaround is 5–7 business days after proof approval, with rush options available. Once your design is approved and on file, reorders skip the proof step and ship faster.

For dealer groups, we manage multiple design files under a single account. Each location can have its own branding variation — different colors for different store locations, different compliance language for different states — with consolidated billing and drop-ship fulfillment.
